Students will be able to observe in real time the instructor's writing evolve into a polished piece ready to be posted to a blog.
Students have an end goal - publication on Write Your Story. The Blog. - if they choose.
Interacting & Revising
Feedback and the exchange of ideas is a critical component for any writer.
Students will learn to critically read other pieces of writing and offer insights into ways to the development of content, voice and delivery. Traditional conventions of spelling and grammar will only come when the piece is polished and ready for publishing.
Each writing workshop will have a private web page where writing drafts can be posted for feedback, both from the instructor and the other students.
The overarching goal is to develop each student's style and voice in their writing.
